The Small Business Bottom Line on Earned Sick Time: An Analysis of Costs and Benefits of Earned Sick Time for Small Businesses in Newark (Report)
This New Jersey Main Street Alliance report provides an analysis of the estimated employer costs and benefits of Newark’s proposed Worker Sick Leave Ordinance. The report finds that the ordinance will have a positive effect on the profitability of Newark businesses and  projects that it will save employers $4.2 million a year, primarily through the decreased cost of turnover.
